Koforidua, Ghana — 11th September, 2026
As part of the Exercise Book for Basic School Pupils Project — "Equipping Young Minds, One Exercise Book at a Time" — a six-member team from Care Missions Foundation visited Otaresco M/A and Attabui M/A Basic Schools to donate essential learning materials to needy students and assess the schools' most pressing needs.
At Otaresco M/A, the team was welcomed with a word of prayer, followed by a motivational session encouraging students to stay focused on their future goals. Care Missions Foundation donated 400 exercise books and 120 markers to 30 needy students.
At Attabui M/A, the team was received by the headmaster and donated 400 exercise books to another 30 students, while also recording each student's individual needs — from uniforms to school bags — for future support planning.
In total, 800 exercise books and 120 markers reached 60 students across both schools.
Beyond the donations, the visits gave the CMF team a clearer picture of what these communities need most: school uniforms, shoes, textbooks, desks, and school bags emerged as recurring priorities that will guide the next phase of support.
We're grateful to the headteachers, teachers, and students of both schools for their warm welcome, and to everyone who has supported the Exercise Book Project so far. If you'd like to help us reach more schools, reach out to us or send a donation via WhatsApp on 0557702013.
Together, we can equip more young minds, one exercise book at a time.
